Your Art Your Story
Thinking about commissioning an abstract painting?
Commissioning an abstract painting is more than buying decor, it’s investing in a personal journey. Abstract art uniquely evokes emotions and ideas that words often can’t express.
Client Reviews
“Working with Valerie was a great experience. She commissioned a piece for our new home and it is absolutely stunning. She was very communicative along the way to ensure the piece worked exactly for our needs. Would absolutely recommend working with her.”
- Client“All of her artwork is exceptional and captivating from the very first glance, and commissioning a piece exceeded our expectations, it just looks so beautiful”
- Client“Valerie was a pleasure to work with from the very first time we connected. She was open, honest, informative, and patient. I was so drawn to all of her artwork, I think she is so talented!! When I told her I wasn’t sure what I wanted out of a commission piece, she offered options and was patient as my husband and I gave it time to think about. She also was willing to work with us/within our budget!! She delivered the custom piece within the time quoted, which again I was impressed with the speed in which she completed it! It is gorgeous and we are OBSESSED with the artwork, it is the center piece in our living room.”

Take home a piece of the district
Through my plein air sketches, I capture Washington, DC in its most authentic moments — the quiet charm of rowhomes, the grandeur of monuments, and the everyday energy of the city. My work blends observation with artistry, turning familiar landmarks into personal, one-of-a-kind keepsakes. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, these sketches let you bring home a piece of the District’s spirit.
