This painting is inspired by the feeling of being present in nature. Listening to the wind as it blows through the trees, seeing the flowers and buds sway in the bushes, or feeling the bumpy ground beneath my feet. Summer is one of my favorite seasons, and I love spending it in Rock Creek Park, especially on early morning jogs and walks through the wooded trails.
